A place where members of the LGBTQ community and their allies
gather weekly in a safe affirming environment to share a meal and the love of God. Everyone is welcome, no matter their background or beliefs.
Everyone is invited into our community.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is the group of people who worked to get Just As I Am Golden Triangle off the ground and continues working to plan each gathering and special event.

We saw a need for a place in the community for those who have been hurt by churches, have been made to feel unwelcome, or have needed a safe space to just be themselves and experience the love of God and acceptance as they are. We worked with Just As I Am Tyler and now St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Beaumont to form Just As I Am Golden Triangle.

Pride 2024

Another fun year at PFLAG Beaumont's Pride Fest! We had so much fun visiting with everyone! A BIG thank you to everyone who donated, helped set up, work, and clean up. It was HOT, but a lot of fun.

Celebrating Mardi Gras!

Advent Wreath Making

We kicked off the Advent season by making our very own Advent Wreath. We really had a great time tying the raffia ribbon and hot gluing everything together. We then used the Facebook videos provided by The Episcopal Diocese of Texas as our guide through Advent.

Our First Anniversary!

On August 15, 2023 we celebrated one year! We ate delicious tacos and had a very meaningful evening prayer service.

Beaumont Pride 2023

We had a blast celebrating Pride on June 10th at the Betty Greenberg Center for Performing Arts! We got to meet and talk to lots of people and catch up with friends we hadn't seen in a while. The funds raised from items we had for sale will be a great help toward our future. Thank you to everyone who helped at the booth and purchased items!

Thanksgiving and Christmas

We had a great time during the holidays as we continued meeting at Pour Brothers Brewery with a few other locations mixed in. In early December we enjoyed the Lighting of the Christmas Tree at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital followed by dinner at Casa Ole'. Christmas saw the celebration of Evening Prayer at Pour Brothers Brewery and Sertino's Cafe'. We are going strong in the new year, but looking for a new location!

2022 Halloween Party

We had a great time at the home of Ari and Bill Docter. Ari and their daughters prepared delicious food for everyone; we talked about our own Halloween traditions growing up and where the celebration of Halloween originated. Hope you'll join us in 2023!

Location Adjustment

In October of 2022 we started alternating meeting locations between Pour Brothers Brewery on Wall St. and our original location. November 2022 saw the initiation of Game Night on every 5th Tuesday at Pour Brothers Brewery. We're so excited to see what God has instore for us and share his love with all who attend!

Our First Gathering

We began meeting on August 16, 2022 in the home of Stephanie Allen and Regina Lieby. We had a wonderful first night with so many great people and The Rev. Rob Jerger joined us from Just As I Am Tyler. We ate pizza and spent the evening getting to know one another.
